Warner Men’s Soccer - Royals Fall To SCAD In Final Road Game

HARDEEVILLE, S.C.- In their final away game of the 2019 season, Warner University men's soccer team dropped a tough 1-4 matchup to SCAD Savannah on Wednesday night. The Royals fall to an overall 7-7-1 and 3-4-1 in conference play. The Bees improve to 6-4-2 overall and 4-2-2 in conference play.

The Bees played a strong first half scoring their first 3 goals of the game. In the 21st minute Matteo Tizzano hit a solo shot scoring the first goal of the game. Shortly after, Tom Barry assisted by Jesus Ulloa, hit net again for the bees in the 23rd minute. This ended the first half with the Royals trailing 2-0.

The Royals struggled to get on the scoreboard and the Bees were not holding back. In the 58th minute, Jesus Ulloa hit a solo shot striking the back of the net. Then in the 66th minute Ty Bennet for the bees hit their 4th goal of the night in unassisted fashion. 

In the 84th minute, the Royals put a goal on the scoreboard by Andrew Hope assisted by Juan Gazzotti. The Royals fell on the road to the Bees with a final score of 1-4.

The Royals host Keiser University this Saturday November 2 at 7:00 P.M. for their final game of the season.
