The Royals were 4-6 all-time when facing the Wildcats. The Royals were 2-2 when facing the Wildcats at home.

The Royals and Wildcats went neck and neck the first half of the game. In the 9th minute, Savannah Jackson for the Wildcats was awarded a penalty kick which was successful for the first goal of the game and making this her 39th goal of the season. Jackson entered tonight's game as the No. 2 best goal scorer in the nation.

The Royals fired back just one minute later after Jacksons goal for the Wildcats.
