BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Royals came away with a 23-20 victory as Tovar Santiago nailed a 23 yard field goal in overtime to seal the game.
Javon Wilson became the first ever single season 1,000 yard rusher.
The Lake Caloosa Clash is always set to be a good game between bitter rivals. The two teams battled neck and neck ending in true rivalry fashion with a made field goal by the Royals in overtime.
This is the seventh time the two teams have met on the gridiron. It's a series that was tied 3-3 before today's game. With the win the Royals jump on top 4-3 in the series.

Javon Wilson blistered the Warriors defense with 174 rushing yards and a touchdown in part to 354 rushing yards put up for the Royals as a team. Jeffery Jennings hauled in 8 of his targets for 96 yards and a touchdown.
A first half struggle full of turnovers on both teams finally saw the Royals get on the board after a bad snap by the Warriors on the 3 yard line that turned into a fumble recovered in the end zone for a Royals touchdown. The Royals took the 6-0 lead into halftime.

Through a series of odd game ending events, the game remained tied 20-20 and went into overtime.
The Warriors took five plays in overtime and couldn't convert giving the ball to the Royals. The Royals drove down on the back of
Javon Wilson who rushed for 6 yards, then 4 yards, then 9 yards before back-to-back no gains by Wilson and Blair forced a 23 yard field goal attempt that was good from
Santiago Tovar.
