LAKE WALES, Fla. - This afternoon Lady Royals took on the Johnson and Wales Lady Wildcats to open up Sun Conference play. Despite a strong showing for the Royals, they were unable to come away victorious and fell to the Wildcats 52-64.
After trailing 7-17 following the first quarter, the Royals notched 20 points in the second quarter clawing back ot just a 4 point spread at halftime where they trailed the Wildcats 27-31.

D'Asia James hit a double-double scoring 17 points with 11 rebounds, 4 offensive and 7 defensive.
Alana St. Clair also marked a double-double matching James with 17 points putting up 10 boards, 1 offensive, 9 defensive.
The Royals consistently shot right around 40% for the game form the field, just continued to struggle with turnovers being the key.
The Royals shift focus to another matchup of the Sun Conference with St. Thomas University. Tipoff is set for Thursday, November 21st in the Turner Athletic Center, at 5:30 p.m.
