MOUNT VERNON, Ga. – The Tri-Match Mid-South Conference weekend took place at Brewton-Parker College in Mount Vernon, Ga. The Royals kept out the brooms in the three-set sweep over Cincinnati Christian and improve to 2-0 overall and in the Mid-South.

Warner's Jose Morales is off to a hot start averaging 5.17 kills per set which has him ranked #1 overall in the NAIA. He also ranks #5 in hitting percentage as he's hitting .456 per game. Against Cincinnati Christian, Morales had 16 kills on 27 attempts improving his hitting percentage .519 on the game and also had 3 digs. 
 
Franky Zamora added another 25 assists, 3 serving aces and 4 digs. 
 
The Royals have started off the season 2-0 overall with a 2-0 Mid-South record. Jose Morales leads the Mid-South in kills with 31 total and an average of 5.2 kills per game. Franky Zamora leads the Mid-South in assists with 49 total and an average of 9.8 per game. 
 
The Royals hit the road again next weekend to take on Life University and Brewton-Parker in another Mid-South tri-weekend matchup.
