LAKE WALES, Fla. – Tonight the Lady Royals basketball team took on the Keiser University Lady Seahawks in what was the last home game of the year for the Lady Royals.
The Lady Royals entered the game with a 7-20 overall record on the year, while Keiser entered the game with a 12-15 overall record.
The 1
st half was won by the Lady Seahawks 24-19.
Warner's leading scorer at halftime was #21
D'Asia James who had 6 points and 4 rebounds; the leading scorer for Keiser at halftime was #24 Antigonie Sanabria who had 11 points and 3 rebounds.
Warner battled back after being down by 10 in the 1
st half and cut the deficit in half right before halftime on a steal and lay-up by #10

At the start of the 3
rd quarter the Royals made a quick basket and got with 3 points of the lead but the Lady Seahawks went on a 7-0 run over the span of 4 minutes to increase their lead to 10 points.
The Lady Roya;s would continue to struggle from the field in the 3
rd quarter, losing the quarter to the Seahawks 18-7. The Lady Royals trailed 42-26 after 3 quarters.
The Royals came out strong in the beginning of the 4
th making 2 quick shots to being the deficit down to 11 but still were not able to slow the Lady Seahawk offense, which made 3/6 shots to open up the 4
th quarter as they fell to the Seahawks 64-43.
