LAKE WALES, Fla. – Warner battled the Knights of St. Andrews last night in their first match at home this season; after going back and forth for 5 sets the Knights were able to grab momentum late and score to quick kills to win the fifth set by 2 points and win the match 3-2.
Warner got off to a slow start in the 1
st set but rallied to defeat the Knights in the 2
nd set by 5 points. The Knights won the 3
rd set but once again fell to the Royals in the 4
th set, leading to a fifth set.
The Royals grabbed the momentum early in the 5
th set but were not able to close the door on the Knights completely before they were able to get their game plan figured out and rally to win the 5
th set and the match.
