LAKE WALES, Fla. – Warner played host to the NAIA #16 Point Park Pioneers in the 1
st game a scheduled double header and then the Judson University Eagles (RV); Both games were only scheduled for 7 innings.
Point Park came into the game with a 3-2 record while Warner entered the game with an 11-4 record on the year.
The Royals were the away team in the 1
st game of the day vs Point Park despite playing on their home turf and then were the home team against the Judson Eagles. In the latter game of the day.

Jarrett Joyner started things off on the mound for the Royals in the 1
st game of the day for the team, pitched 5 innings, faced 23 batters and had 5 strikeouts; only allowing 1 ER before being relieved by
Kody Smith.
Kody Smith came in and pitched the final 2 innings for Warner, striking out 4 and giving up 0 ER.

The Royals offense came out ready to play today; they jumped out to an early 1-0 lead after the 1
st inning and continued to bring in the runs after that, scoring 2 in the 2
nd inning and 3 in the 3
rd to bring their lead up to 6-0 over the Pioneers.
Warner added 2 more runs to their in the top of the 4
th inning to bring their lead up to 8 runs.
The Pioneers finally got on the board in the bottom half of the 4
th inning when they scored 2 runs off 2 hits, bringing the Royals lead to 8-2.
The Royals and the Pioneers were both blanked in the 5
th inning but Warner got back to work in the top of the 6
th, scoring 2 more runs off 2 hits, bringing their lead back up to 8 runs.
Warner wasn't finished scoring as they scored 4 more runs in the top of the 7
th to extend the lead to 14-2 over the Pioneers.
The Royals had 12 hits as team, only committed 2 errors and struck out 9 on the mound; 7 different Royals had a base hit in the 14-2 win; the Royals 12
th win of the season.
Scott Fickas extended his hitting streak to 14 games as he finished the day with a 2-4 performance, with 3 Runs and 1 RBI.
Warner vs. Judson
Jaryd Clary started on the mound in game 2 and grabbed his 3
rd win of the year for the Royals vs the Judson Eagles, pitching 5 innings, striking out 7 and allowing 0 ER before he was relieved by
Ryan Klingler.
Ryan Klingler came in and pitched 2 innings for the Royals, striking out 4 batters and keeping the shutout intact for the Royals.
This is Warner's 2
nd shutout win of the season.

The Royals kept the offense rolling into game 2 vs the Eagles, scoring 3 runs in the 1
st inning off hits from
Rio Russell,
Xanders Vazquez,
Rafael Astacio, and
Alex Vazquez.
Jaryd Clary kept the Eagles hitters at bay, not allowing a hit until the top of the 3d inning.
The Eagles grabbed some momentum in the top of the 4
th, knocking 2 hits to the left side off Clary and they were able to load the bases with 2 outs against the Royals starter but Clary was able to work out of the bases loaded jam in the top of the 4
th inning to preserve the Royals 3-0 lead.
The Royals jumped on the board again in the bottom of the 5
th inning, scoring 3 more runs off 2 walks to
Ronny Penalo and
Rafael Astacio then a double off the center field wall by
Alex Vazquez.
Erich Jaquez doubled to bring in the Vazquez and get the 6
th run of the game across for the Royals.
Judson once again looked to get something going when they loaded the bases in the top of the 6
th but were unable to get a run across the board as
Ryan Klingler was able to keep the Royals shutout intact.
Warner added their final 2 runs in the bottom of the 6
th inning off hits from
Ronny Penalo,
Alex Vazquez,
Josh Strickland and
Erich Jaquez.
Warner had 27 hits off 69 at-bats today, batting .391 as a team and scoring 20 total runs, look for the Royals to keep the offense rolling into this weekend when they will play the Judson Eagles in a 3 game set.
