LAKE WALES, Fla. – Warner University Baseball said let there be light! First night game ever for the Royals baseball team on campus; when the lights came on
Michael Batten turned the lights out, sending 13 Eagles back to the dugout!
Warner mercy ruled Judson University tonight 16-4 behind 18 hits and 14 K's as a team, marking the 7
th straight win for the Royals!
The Royals dominated tonight going 18-38 tonight from the plate, batting just under .500 as a team, with a stellar pitching performance from
Michael Batten, who earned his 2
nd win of the year.
Michael Batten started the game for the Royals and pitched 6 innings, striking out 13 batters and only allowing 2 hits before being relieved by
Cameron Cooper.
Cameron Cooper came in a pitched the last inning for the Royals, closing the book on a fantastic night under the lights for the team!
Alex Vazquez had a career game, driving in a run in every at bat tonight and homering twice in the 6
th inning.
This is the Royals 3
rd shutout victory of the year and with the win the Royals are now 14-4 on the year.

rd inning the Royals jumped out to a 4 run lead off hits from
Alex Vazquez and
Rafael Astacio.
Warner kept the offense attack going as they scored 2 more runs in the bottom of the 4
th inning off a ground ball by
Scott Fickas and a single by
Alex Vazquez.
The Royals scored 2 more runs in the bottom of the 5
th, off hits from
Erich Jaquez and
Xanders Vazquez, to extend the lead to 8-0.
Warner opened the flood gates in the bottom of the 6
th inning, scoring 8 runs off hits from
Keith Rathbun,
Anthony Martinez and 2 homeruns by
Alex Vazquez. The Royals dominated the 6
th inning, scoring 8 runs, extending their lead to 16-0.

Jeff Sikes did a great job getting his team ready to play and show out under the lights for the 1
st time in program history, this historic occasion was capped off in excellent fashion with the Royals 16-4 thrashing of the NAIA (RV) Judson Eagles.
Expect the Royals to keep the momentum flowing into tomorrow's double header vs. the Judson Eagles at Royals Field and expect to see
Andres Fernandez on the mound for the Royals in game 1 of the double header as the Royals look to extend their win streak to 8 straight.
