Bluffton, SC. – The Warner Royals completed their sweep of the USCB Sand Sharks this afternoon with a 10-8 win.
The Sand Sharks made a surge in the 8
th inning, tallying 7 runs but
Ryan Klingler came into the game in the 9
th inning once again and shut the door on any chance the Sand Sharks had, earning his 2
nd save of the season.
With the win the Royals are now 26-9 with a 7-2 conference record and are 2nd in the TSC.

Warner jumped ahead in the 1
st inning scoring 3 runs off hits from
Rafael Astacio,
Alex Vazquez, and
Ronny Penalo. The Royals have outscored opponents in the 1

2 more runs were added to the Royals lead in the top of the 2
nd off hits from

Warner led 5-0 after 2 inning and continued to extend their lead, adding 1 run in the 4

USCB finally answered back in the bottom of the 5
th, scoring only 1, the only run

Warner added their 8
th run of the afternoon in the top of the 6
th inning and capped things off in the 7
th scoring 2 more runs to bring their lead up to 10-1.
The Sand Sharks took a big chunk out of the Royals lead in the bottom of the 8
th inning, scoring 7 runs off 5 hits and 4 walks. The Royals used 2 different pitchers to get through the inning and decided to bring in their ace in the hole this weekend,
Ryan Klingler, to close things down yet again.
Klingler came out for the bottom of the 9
th with the Royals leading 10-8 but lacking the momentum and weathered the storm for the Royals, producing 2 fly outs and 1 ground out to end the game and confirm the sweep.
