West Palm Beach, Fla. – Warner took game one 8-5 but lost game two 13-3 today in their double header vs the Keiser University Seahawks; the Royals lost the Sun Conference series to Keiser 2-1 but are still alive in the playoff race.

The Royals are 31-17 on the season and are now 11-10 in the TSC and take on their TSC rival Webber International next weekend in an important TSC series.

Game 1:
The Royals jumped on the board quick, scoring 1 run in the top of the 1st inning when Scott Fickas hit into a fielder's choice that allowed Xanders Vazquez to score.

Warner trailed 4-1 until the top of the 5th when they scored 4 runs to the lead, the runs were scored off hit from Scott Fickas, Rio Russell, and Anthony Martinez and a passed ball that allowed Alex Vazquez to score.

Keiser tied the game in the bottom of the 5th but in the top of the 6th the Alex Vazquez blasted a 3-run HR to put the Royals ahead of the Seahawks 8-5. Vazquez continues to lead the Royals win HR and RBI's with 10 HR and 54 RBI's on the year.

Michael Batten pitched 8 remarkable innings, grabbing his 4th win and kept his team in the game the whole way until he was relieved by Ryan Klingler who pitched the 9th inning and grabbed his 4th save of the year.

Game 2:
Keiser jumped out to an early 3 run lead in the 3rd inning but the Royals answered back with 2 runs in the top of the 4th after Alex Vazquez reached base safely on a walk and was eventually drove in by Jan Martinez; the Royals scored their 2nd run of the inning when Erich Jaquez hit a Sac Fly to center field to bring Scott Fickas home.

The Royals scored another run in the 5th inning when Rio Russell singled to center field to drive in Ronny Penalo but were held at bay the rest of the game and fell to the Seahawks 13-3 in the final game of the series.

The TSC playoff hopes are still alive for the Royals as they head into the last regular season weekend of the year next weekend, taking on their Crooked Lake rival the Webber International Warriors. The Warriors ranked 25th in the NAIA and are fighting for a playoff spot as well.
