The Royals offense came alive in game one of The Sun Conference Championship plundering the Night Hawks to the tune of 15 hits and 9 runs to take the 5-Inning run rule victory 9-1.Â
Sara Bruno unleashed havoc at the plate going 3-3 with 2 doubles and 4 RBI including a bases clearing double in the top of the second inning. Kasey Heslin, Kayleigh Walters, Sara Bruno, Breyonna Shell and Brittany Winget all registered multi-hit efforts in the game.
Brooke Olinger received her 10th season win in the circle throwing 5-innings and spreading out 4 hits cruising with a 1 hitter into the bottom of the 5th.Â
The Royals now stand 1-0 in TSC Tournament play and will take on the #2 seed USCB Sand Sharks at 6:00 p.m.
