Warner Women's Volleyball - Royals Square Off Against Seahawks In First Conference Match At Home

LAKE WALES, Fla. - The 3-4 Warner Royals matched up against the 17-5 Keiser University Seahawks today for their 3rd overall Sun-Conference match of the season and the first TSC match played in the TAC this season. Despite a strong outing in the first set the Royals could not overcome the explosive attacks brought to Lake Wales by the Seahawks and fell in 3 sets.

With the win the Seahawks extend their winning streak to 14 games this season and are now 18-5 with a 4-0 TSC record. The Royals are now 3-5 and are 1-2 in TSC play. Warner has not been able to play in as ,any matches as the Seahawks due to cancelations and rescheduling caused by Hurricane Dorian.

Alexandra Gonzalez continued to be the dominant force and leader for the Royals she has been all season, leading the team in kills for the 6th time in 8 matches, adding 5 more kills to her season total (76) to continue to lead to the Royals in the statical category.

Warner will have a few days off to recoup and prepare for their next TSC match which will be against the 9-4 Florida Memorial Lions, who are also 4-0 in TSC play.

The Royals played one of the most explosive offenses in the TSC this afternoon, as Keiser has 2 of the top 4 players in the conference, as far as game averages go, and is tied with Florida Memorial for 1st place in the conference.
