THOMASVILLE, GA. – Despite only being down by 1-point at halftime the Warner Royals fell to the Thomas University Night Hawks 82-67 and suffered their largest loss of the 2019-2020 season.
This is a big win for the Night Hawks, who move to 7-10 and 3-6 in TSC play this season, and could start a spark that helps lead them to the playoffs at the end of the regular season.
The Royals fall to 15-6 and 4-5 in conference play after tonight's road game. With more than half of the season already over, Warner will need to be almost perfect down the stretch in order to grab a spot in the TSC playoffs.
Maxwell Benoit ended the game with 11 points and 7 rebounds and
Rod Boggan finished with a team-high 13 points with 2 rebounds and 1 assist.
