AVE MARIA, Fla. – Warner Men's soccer remains a perfect 14-0 against Ave Maria in the school's history with tonight's 1-0 victory.
The Royals hit the road to Ave Maria to complete a game that was postponed earlier in the year. It was the Royal that came out on top 1-0 finishing off the shutout.
The lone goal from the Royals came from
Dillon Giambrone on a line drive from about 30 yards out. The goal was assisted by
Deven Ingley. Giambrone has now scored in back to back games and netted his third goal of the season.
The Royals lead the all time series over the Gyrenes now with a 14-0-1 record. The 1-0 shutout tonight marks the fifth shutout for the Royals in the matchup history.
