Warner Women’s Soccer – First Half Goal Leads To Shutout Victory In Crooked Lake Rivalry

BABSON PARK, Fla. – The Royals blanked the Warriors for the regular season sweep finishing off the Crooked Lake Rivalry.

An early goal turned out to be the game winner in the Crooked Lake Rivalry this afternoon. Warner took down Webber International in Babson Park 1-0.
 
It was the first shutout of the season for the Royals and the second straight victory. In the 30th minute of the game, Brooke Boccuzzo received a pass across the box from Sara Machado then Boccuzzo found the back of the net in the top right corner. The goal by Brooke Boccuzzo was her first of the season and the eventual game winner.
 
Warner improved to 5-4 overall and winning their second Sun Conference matchup. Gabrielle Barnette received credit for the shutout with no saves and the Royals defense holding the Warriors to just four shots.
