Warner Women’s Soccer – Royals Fall Short to NCCAA No. 1 Grace University In Opening Game Of Pool Play

KISSIMMEE, Fla. – The Royals played their first match of the NCCAA National Championship Pool Play against No.1 Grace University resulting in a 0-3 shutout. 
 
The Royals took on the powerhouse No. 1 Grace University Lancers this afternoon in Kissimmee to start National Championship tournament. The Royals battled and held the Lancers at three goals and 18 shots for the game while Warner snagged nine saves. 
 
The stout Lancers defense were able to keep the Royals at bay holding them to just 3 shots in the game. 
 
This was the first time this season the Royals faced the Lancers. Warner has faced the Lancers just three times in previous years with the Lancers leading the series 3-0.
 
The Royals continue pool play tomorrow in the NCCAA National Championship against No. 4 Erskine College in Kissimmee, Fla at 2:30 pm. Tune in to watch the live-action, the link can be found via the www.warnerroyals.com schedule.
