TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. – The Royals started their 2020-21 campaign on the road at Florida College.
 
In a series that dates back to 2013, the Royals led the Falcons 9-2. The teams split the series with each winning on the road last season. Tonight, the Falcons came away with a 57-42 win over the Royals.
 
Haley Gantt was the Royals point leader finishing the night with 14. She also snagged 5 rebounds while adding an assist and a steal. D'Asia James was the game high rebounder with 13 boards, 3 offensive and 10 defensive and scored 7 points. Isabella Lopez also added 7 points while pulling in 5 rebounds and adding 3 assists.
 
The overall series takes the Royals lead to 9-3 overall since 2013. The two teams will meet again later this year at Warner on November 24, 2020.
 
Next up, Warner welcomes Johnson University to the Turner Athletic Center on Saturday November 7^th at 2:00 p.m. The Royals own an undefeated 2-0 record in the young series against the Suns. In the two games, Warner has outscored the Suns by more than 30 points.
