LAKE WALES, Fla. - The final regular season Sun Conference game tilted to the Sand Sharks this afternoon while celebrating the Royals seniors.
It was a strong battle on Royals field this afternoon with just 20 shots combined in the game. The Royals came into the day with a 3-1 record in the past four games only falling to NAIA No. 4 Southeastern.
The game entered half with 5 shots for USCB and just 1 shot for the Royals. With a 0-0 halftime score, the Sand Sharks found the net in the 71
st minute and held off the Royals for the remaining 20 minutes to seal the win.
The Royals still have one final home game remaining in the regular season. Warner will welcome Florida College into town on Tuesday night at 5:00 p.m.
