Warner Women’s Basketball – Royals Drop To Warriors In First Crooked Lake Rivalry Matchup

LAKE WALES, Fla. – Warner fell to the Warriors tonight leaving the Royals still in search of their first TSC win.
 
The Warriors have taken their fourth straight matchup against the Royals. The overall series stays heavily in favor of the Warriors with the Royals record all time at 11-20.
 
The Royals will now prepare for an onslaught of Sun Conference games to start the 2021 new year.
 
The Royals struggled keeping control of the ball turning it over 23 times and allowing 31 points on turnovers. Isabel Morales helped out on the Warner forced turnovers by blocking 4 shots on the night. With 8 points, Morales was also the Royals second highest scorer. Leading the way was D'Asia James. James finshed the game with 15 points and 7 rebounds. James has amassed 113 rebounds on the season and now sits 5 points shy of 150 with 145 on the season.
 
Warner will hit the ground running to celebrate the new year with a trip to Miami Gardens to take on Florida Memorial on Saturday January 2nd.
