LAURINBURG, NC. – Warner improves to 4-2 on the season following a sweep over St. Andrews tonight.
The Royals opened up Mid-South Conference play this evening and will be bringing home an MSC 1-0 record.
Warner 3, St. Andrews 0 (25-19, 27-25, 25-21)
The Royals completed their third sweep of the season with the 3-0 win over the Knights. Sophomore setter
Franky Zamora finished the night 1 assist shy of a career high with 38 assists. The 38 assists gives him a 12.66 assists per set average on the night.
Eduardo Ayala and
Augusto Silva led the Royals offense with 12 kills each. Ayala finished with a .360% kill percentage and Silva with .435%.
Esdras Panchame Pavon led the Royals defensively with 11 digs.
Augusto Silva and
Jose Gonzalez each registered 2 blocking assists while Gonzalez also added a solo block.
The Royals men are rolling going 4-1 in their last five games with three sweeps. They will face some key matchups moving forward as they start the heart of Mid-South Conference play.
