LAKE WALES, Fla. – A pair of wins strengthens the Royals as they stack their fourth straight victory.
In their opening game of the 35
th Royals Invitational, Warner took on the University of Michigan Dearborn.
The Royals netted 8 hits in the game and took a 7-1 victory.
Tad Stockowski and Devin Kirkland were the only Royals to register multi-hit performances.
Zachary Balogh went 1-4 at the plate but pushed across 2 runs with his bat.
Luke Myers got the head nod on the hill and threw a complete 7 innings only surrendering 3 hits and striking out 8. Myers improves to 2-4 on the season with the victory.
The Royals offense then fired up to register 16 hits in a 12-7 victory over the Mount Vernon Nazarene Cougars.
Trey Matthews hit two doubles in the game along with
Rio Russell and
Jan Martinez with solo doubles. Six Royals registered multi-hit performances; Scott Fikas (3),

Ryley Rozar threw 5.2 innings on the bump for the Royals only giving up 2 earned runs and striking out 6. Rozar improved to 2-3 on the season.
