LAKE WALES, Fla. – Warner University Athletics has a proud history of competing in Men's and Women's athletics. The Royals will be adding another four female teams into the mix in the fall of 2020.
2020 has been a year of uncertainty so far with many issues facing not only the Warner community but the entire nation and world. However, in a world of uncertainty, one thing is for sure, the Lady Royals have become a prominent part of Warner University athletics and will be adding four more teams to the slate.
Warner University is a proud competitor in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) as well as the National Christian College Association (NCCAA). Warner is building and adding female teams has been a point of interest for president Dr. David Hoag. He said, "We are committed to investing in our female athletic programs at Warner University. We're fortunate to have some of the best coaches in our conference that are committed to developing our student athletes on and off the field/court. The future of women's athletics at Warner is very promising."
Perhaps in one of the biggest announcements of the year so far, Warner was named as just 1 of 11 schools in the nation to partner with NFL Flag, RCX and the NAIA in the founding of Women's Flag Football. The Royals will begin play this coming fall of 2020.
Warner University is not the only entity taking steps into increasing female sports at the collegiate level. The Sun Conference was playing its inaugural season of Beach Volleyball this past spring which was cut short due to CoVID-19.
Warner University announces the addition of Junior Varsity Developmental Programs Women's Soccer, Women's Basketball, Softball and Varsity Women's Flag Football. The Royals will be welcoming all of these programs in the fall of 2020.
On top of the addition to new female sports teams, the Royals Clay Target Team recently announced its first fulltime rostered female shooter incoming for the fall of 2020, Jamey Williamson. Williamson joins
Adeline Anthony on the Clay Target Team. Anthony is a dual athlete competing in Women's Beach Volleyball and as a shooter for the Royals Clay Target Team.

Royals Assistant Athletic Director, Indoor Women's Volleyball and Beach Volleyball Coach
Chrissy Moskovits has 15 years of coaching experience. She said, "I had both male and female coaches throughout my time as a player and there can be major differences in the way they coach. The trick is to find a balance and you evolve as you go. I never thought I'd be a coach at first, certainly not at the college level, let alone my alma mater. I am extremely proud of what I've accomplished as a female coach and I hope to continue to grow and learn from the best."

Hannah Sikes has 5 years of coaching experience. These are all things I pray for my athletes."
Royals Softball Head Coach
Meagan Smith has 12 years of coaching experience. She said, "Being a female Head Coach at the collegiate level has been one of the greatest blessings the Lord has given me.
