LAKE WALES, Fla. – Warner University football is geared up and ready to kick off their 2020 campaign. It all begins with a big-time rivalry matchup across the lake against Webber International University.

Kickoff will take place at 1:30 p.m. in Babson Park. The Royals and Warriors are primed for a season opening rivalry matchup.
 
Royals head coach Kirk Talley is set for his second year at the helm. In 2019, the Royals practically rewrote the entire Warner football record book. The 2019 Royals set the overall record for rushing yards with 1792 over 10 games, 2179 passing yards with 2179 receiving yards.
 
The Royals return Dylan Blair at Quarterback, Javon Wilson at Running Back, and Keon Brown at Wide Receiver. The Royals boast an offensive line with six guys in the 300 lb+ range. Dalton Kolbylarczyk, Darren Ellis, Jonas Small, William Russell, Dyllon Lewis and Chase Kleehammer. Defensively the Royals return Rodelson Petit on the Defensive Line, John Swanson and Moses Mertilus at Linebacker. The Royals also send out a veteran Safety lineup with Kama Jackson III, Quinterrious Hill, AJ Robinson and Sirr Talbott.
 
The Royals came away with an overtime victory 23-20 last season at Warriors field. This rivalry matchup is always set to be a good game.
