LAKE WALES, Fla. – The Royals remain an undefeated 8-0 at home after tonight's win over the Mariners.
The Royals went out on top in the first 20 minutes scoring 34 points leaving the Mariners trailing with 29 points.
During the first half
Joseph Martz was the leader with 12 points going 2-3 from beyond the three-point line.
Darryl Mercer staggered the Mariners offense with 4 steals in the first half. As a team Warner recorded 10 steals in the half.
In the second half,
Rod Boggan took off scoring 16 points. Mercer continued his great run scoring 9 points in the second half.
Overall, Mercer scored 19 points on the night with 5 steals and 4 assists. Boggan followed closely with 17 points and snagged 7 rebounds. Martz had a great night scoring 14 shooting 5-7 from the field.
Logan West also registered double digits in the point column for the Royals with 10 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals and a huge 3 blocks against the Mariners offense.
With a young series that debuted back in 2017, the Royals have a strong lead of 7-2.
