LAKELAND, Fla. – The Royals remain undefeated against the Fire this season. After tonight's win, the Royals extend their conference record to 11-3
The Royals went out on top in the first half scoring 41 points leaving the Fire following with 31 points.
During the first half,
Rod Boggan was the leader with 15 points shooting 100% from the free-throw line and 2-3 from beyond the arc.
Joseph Martz went 2-2 from the three-point line scoring 8 points in total in the first half.
In the second half, Boggan registered 16 points. The Royals as a team scored 39 points. Overall, Boggan recorded 31 points in which set a new career-high. Boggan also set two more career highs tonight with free-throw attempts with 15 and free throws made with 14.
Logan West was just shy away from another double-double tonight with 11 points and 7 boards. West also snagged 3 steals.
Darryl Mercer registered 13 points in the game tonight and that brought his career total to 1,009 career points.
The Royals will travel to Thomasville, GA to play against the Nighthawks on February 4.
