HARDEEVILLE, S.C. - The men and women's cross country team traveled to Hardeeville South Carolina to compete in the 15th annual Sandshark Invitational hosted by the University of South Carolina Beaufort.
MEN'S RESULTS
The men had a great show they placed fourth overall. Senior, David Herrera placed 11th in the 8k race just missed the top 10 spot. He recorded a new personal record of 28:57. Freshman, Chandler Mault was the second Royal to cross the finish line also with a personal best of 30:51. Freshman, Xavier Rios also earn a personal record with a new time of 32:53. Justin Rios ran his first 8K race of the season and finished with a time of 33:24. Gabriel Lechene recorded a time of 36:14.
WOMEN'S RESULTS
On the women's side, Emilie Copeland led the Royals and finished the 5K race with a time of 26:13. Senior, Saray Perez earned a new personal record with a time of 27:34. Senior, Tatyana Dennis crossed the finish line at 29:07.
