Warner Women’s Soccer – Royals Collect First SUN Conference Tie Against Sandsharks

LAKE WALES, Fla. – Senior day resulted in a double-overtime match between the Royals and the Sandsharks. 
 
Before the start of the match, the eight seniors were recognized. Emma Marshall, Sara Machado, Kristina Budzban, Lexi Garcia, Brooke Boccuzzo, Carroll Merand, Kirstin Campbell, and Taylor Boyd walked with their loved ones in honor of senior day. 
 
Both the Royals and Sandsharks played a great game, they played great defense and kept everyone on their toes to see who would score the first goal. After 90 minutes the game was 0-0 and an extra 10 minutes of play was a must. After those 10 minutes of overtime, the score remained 0-0 and resulted in another overtime to end the game 0-0 as the Royals collected their second tie overall and first tie in SUN conference play. 
 
Next, the Royals will face No. 1 Keiser University on Thursday, October 21 at 7:00 pm.
