LAKE WALES, Fla. – Royals face the Crooked Lake Rivals for the second time this season for a conference match-up.
Tonight, was the night these two teams played for the Warner vs. Webber Crooked Lake Cup and the game resulted in a tie.
This is the second conference tie the Royals have picked up this season and 4
th tie overall. Their record improved to 4-3-4 overall and 0-1-2 in the conference.
The Royals played a tremendous match and played great defense but the Warriors scored in the first half to take the lead. After halftime, the Royals came back with even more energy and battled throughout the game.
Dawson Johnson scored the goal assisted by
Eduardo DaSilva and
Kendy Pierre to tie the game 1-1. The game went into double overtime but neither team scored again which resulted in yet another conference tie.
Warner will face Southeastern University on Wednesday, October 6 at 7:00 pm for another Sun conference matchup.
