Warner Men's Soccer - Royals End Season in NCCAA Regional Championship Game

LAKE WALES, Fla. – Royals fall to Carolina University in the NCCAA Regional Championship game. 

Warner University hosted the NCCAA South Region Regional Game. They played Carolina University, the first meeting between these two teams before. The Royals came off of a tough loss to Webber International two weeks prior to tonight's game in the Sun Conference Quarterfinal game. The Bruins however came into the game against Warner on a five-game win streak. The Bruins were 9-6-1 on the season before tonight's game, and the Royals who finished third in the Sun Conference finished the regular season at 9-5-4. 

The Royals got off to a slow start in the first half only having 6 total shots, compared to the Bruins who had 10. However, after the second half finished the Royals had jumped ahead of the Bruins with 15 shots the Bruins had 12. Both goalkeepers for Warner and Carolina University had the best games of their season. Woodlerson Cyrius the Royals keeper had 7 saves on the night against the Bruins. Jeremiah Gibbs the Bruins goalie had 9 saves against Warner. The first and only goal of the game that would send the Bruins to Nationals did not come until the 109th minute of the contest. Warner University ends their season with a record of 9-6-4.
