Warner Men’s Basketball – Royals Beat the Bobcats In Miami Gardens

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – Royals travel to Miami Gardens to play the Bobcats of St. Thomas University. 
 
This is the 27th time these two teams have faced each other in school history. The last time the Royals faced the Bobcats was February 26, 2021, in the SUN Conference Tournament. 
 
Freshman, Blaize Darling Jr. was the leading scorer for the Royals and recorded his season-high of 27 points. Darling Jr. also registered 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. He went 3-3 from the free-throw line. Following Darling Jr. was Joseph Martz with 17 points, he went 3-4 from beyond the arc. Martz registered 3 assists, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals. Junior, Darryl Mercer had a total of 16 points in the game, going 3-4 from beyond the arc and shooting 100% from the free-throw line. As a team, the Royals had 25 rebounds, 14 assists, and 84 points. 
 
The Royals will travel to Winter Park, Fla. to face the Tars of Rollins College for an NCAA DII Exhibition on Monday, November, 22 at 7:00 pm.
