LAKELAND, FL – Royals drop the third conference loss in a row after losing to Ave Maria University with a score of 48-23.
The Royals faced Ave Maria University in Lakeland, Florida for senior day. It was a very busy game with a lot of family members and friends coming to enjoy the fun for a special day.
Michael Young played a fantastic game against the Gyrenes. He completed 28 passes in 34 attempts and had a total of 384 yards during the game with three touchdown passes.
Michael Young now has over 1,000 passing yards on the season for the Royals.
Tyler Bailey rushed for 76 yards against the Gyrenes. Bailey now has 163 rushing yards on the season.
Trevon Jackson was everywhere for the Royals during the contest against Ave Maria. He led the Royals in receptions and reception yards. He caught the ball 5 times and had over 128 yards. Jackson now has 478 reception yards and leads the Royals in receiving yards. Senior, Johnathan Jones had 10 total tackles during the game vs Ave Maria, 3 of which were solo tackles. The Royals had over 480 total offensive yards against the Gyrenes.
The Royals will play at Webber International on Saturday, November 13, at 1:30 pm for the last game of the season.
