LAKE WALES, Fla. - The Royals opened their Sun Conference schedule against the nations best #1 Southeastern Fire.
The #1 Fire used just 8 innings to take down the Royals in Lake Wales. With the nation's most powerful offense, Southeastern earned the win with 13 hits and 12 runs scored.
Warner salvaged a couple hits belonging to Tyler Brown, John Pichman and Jan Martinez. Martinez finished the game 1-2 with a double and a walk.
The Royals used five pitchers in the contest, a bright spot in the game was ringing up 7 Fire hitters via the strikeout. Ryley Rozar got the head nod for the start, he threw 4 innings spreading out 7 hits and 5 runs while striking out 3.
Warner and #1 Southeastern will clash again on Saturday to conclude the TSC opening series with a doubleheader.
