LAKE WALES, Fla. - It was the Royals vs. the Royals as the Warner Royals took down the Bethel Royals 8-1.

It was a powerful showing by Warner taking down the NCAA DIII Royals 8-1. The doubles matchups were played to a true three points in comparison to the NAIA doubles count as one decision. 

Bruno Pessoa and Filipe Gil took down Beckers and Reilly 8-2 and won their third straight doubles matchup. Julian Cuartas and Joe Herin pulled together for an 8-4 victory over Kantor and Mueller. Jake Edwards and Bruno Carvalho won a tight race over Creelman and Lukkarila 8-7 (8-6).

#1 Bruno Pessoa [WUMT] took down Erik Beckers [BU] (6-1, 6-1).

#2 Joe Herin [WUMT] defeated Zach Kantor [BU] (6-0, 6-4).

#3 Filipe Gil [WUMT] took down Jason Reilly [BU] (7-6, 5-3).

#4 Julian Cuartas [WUMT] defeated Tyler Creelman [BU] (6-1, 6-4).

#5 Bruno Carvalho [WUMT] took down Jacob Lukkarila [BU] (6-1, 6-1)

#6 Antonio Santos [WUMT] fell to Joey Mueller [BU] (2-6, 4-6). 

The Royals improve to 4-3 on the season after taking their third straight match. Warner will take a lengthy break before taking on St. Thomas University on March 27th in Miami Gardens.
