Series History: Warner's Overall Record 30-7

Game 1 – WU 5, KU 0

The Royals offense seemed stalled until the top of the fifth inning. Ashton Owen picked up her third triple of the season that scored Katelyn Richards and Madison Ioia.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, Jada Cruz added to that lead with a single to left field scoring Andrea Robello. Alison Yawn hit a sharp single down the line scoring Kelly Dwyer. Later in the sixth, with bases loaded full of Royals, Katelyn Richards was hit by a pitch in a 3-1 count and that scored Madison Ioia for the second time.

Tiffany Dodson furthered her NAIA individual lead earning her 12th victory of the season. Dodson hurled the 7 inning complete game holding the Seahawks to just 3 hits.

With the win the Royals improved to 16-5 overall and 1-0 in TSC play riding a four game winning streak.

Game 2 – WU 0, KU 4

Keiser used a pair of runs in the bottom of the first inning and another pair in the bottom of the third. All-in-all, the Seahawks blanked the Royals by flipping the script and holding the powerful offense to just 3 hits.

Kara Bradley started for the Royals throwing 3 innings surrendering 5 hits and 4 runs. Tiffany Dodson entered the game in relief and threw 3 hitless innings striking out 2 facing the minimum 9 hitters.

The Royals offense failed to move in the second game and it was the Seahawks that came away with the 4-0 win.

Warner fell to 16-6 overall with the loss and 1-1 in Sun Conference play.

The Royals bring their Sun Conference schedule back home this weekend taking on Ave Maria in The Sun Conference Series of the Week.
