(RV) Warner Baseball – Royals Drop First Two Games to Sandsharks

BLUFFTON, SC – The Royals remain fifth in the Sun Conference. The Royals will face the Sandsharks again tomorrow for game 3 of the series.
 
In the top of the 3rd, John Pichman singled through the left side and recorded an RBI scoring Logan Flood. In the top of the 5th, Pichman singled to the right side registered another RBI, and scored Flood. Jan Martinez walked to score Joshua Strickland. Anthony Capri reached on a fielder's choice but recorded an RBI that scored Tyler Brown. Alexander Ramos doubled down the left line and listed an RBI scoring Pichman to make the 5-3 in favor of Warner. 
 
In the top of the 6th, Martinez singled to left field registering an RBI that scored Strickland. Capri walked and recorded an RBI to score Brown to make the game 7-3 Royals up. In the top of the 9th, Taylor Briggs singled up the middle listed an RBI, and scored Capri which made the game 8-5 Royals on top. In the bottom of the 9ththe Sandsharks came back and tied the game 8-8. The game went to 10 innings and USCB walked off.
 
Game Two
 
The Royals scored late in the game in the top of the 5th, Brown doubled to center field registered in RBI scoring Flood. Ramos scored on a wild pitch to score the second run for Warner. The Royals fell short and went 0-2 for the first two games of the series. 
 
The Royals will face the Sandsharks again tomorrow for game 3 at noon.
