LAKE WALES, Fla. – Royals walk off in a rare fashion against the No. 8 Seahawks in the 9
th inning with 2 outs.
Warner faced Keiser for the first time this season for a non-conference game. Keiser scored 3 runs in the 2
ndinning but that didn't stop Warner. In the bottom of the 2
nd,
Erich Jaquez singled to the pitcher registered an RBI scoring
Jan Martinez.
Brian Spradlin listed an RBI with a sacrifice bunt scoring
Anthony Capri. Jaquez stole third and capitalized on an error by the Seahawks to score another run to tie the game.
Josh Strickland singled to right field listed an RBI scoring
Logan Flood to make the game 4-3 in favor of the Royals.
The Seahawks answered back in the 3
rd inning and made the game 7-4 in their favor. In the bottom 5
th, Capri recorded an RBI with a sacrifice fly scoring
Tyler Brown. Spradlin singled to left field listed 2 RBIs scoring Martinez and
John Pichman to tie the game. Flood doubled down the left field line registered 2 RBIs scoring
Devin Frost and Jaquez. In the bottom of the 6
th, Martinez singled up the middle and listed an RBI scoring Brown to make the game 10-7 in favor of Warner.
In the top of the 7
th inning, Keiser came back and tied the game 10-10. In the bottom of the 8
th, Brown homered to right field to put Warner on top. In the bottom of the 9
th, walked off in a rare manner on a passed ball to win the game 13-12.
Pichman took the win off the mound for the Royals improving his record to 3-0.
Next up, Warner will face Webber for a Sun Conference series against the Crooked Lake Rivals on Thursday, April 2.
