BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Warner finished with an overall record of 13-5 and 12-4 in the Mid-South Conference.
The 2021 season came to an end for the Royals after playing (RV) Georgetown in the MSC Semifinals. The match went to four sets, this was the second time the two teams have faced each other in the season. Both encounters versus the Tigers have resulted in a four-set match.
Senior,
Augusto Silva set a new season-high with 15 kills being the leader for the Royals. He also recorded 3 block assists. Trailing with 14 kills in the match was Freshman
Eduardo Ayala. He also received First Team All-Conference.
Matheus Collares recorded 24 assists and 6 digs. He ended the season with a total of 416 assists.
Franky Zamora registered 15 assists and had a 1.000% attacking percentage.
The Royals beat two nationally-ranked teams, #2 Campbellsville University and #13 Life University. This was the third appearance in the Mid-South Conference Tournament in four years.
