LAKE WALES, Fla. - Warner University has announced the hiring of Tim Mimbs as Head Coach of Women's Flag Football.
Warner is excited to welcome Tim Mimbs to the Royal community.
Mimbs was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. He graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Education. Mimbs has a 13-year-old daughter named Ella.
Previously he coached at Robinson High School since 2013 where they won 6 out of the last 7 state championships including the last 5 years in a row, not including the COVID-19 cancellation in 2020. He also coached the Women's Club team from 2015-201 7at the University of South Florida. After USF he coached the Women's Club team from 2017-2021 at the University of Florida. They won 3 NIRSA national championships, the 4th year was canceled due to COVID-19.
Tim says, "I am extremely honored to be named the Head Coach of the Women's Flag Football team at Warner University. I look forward to building a model program both on and off the field."

He comes with years of experience here in Florida along with a vast connection to high school coaches. He will do a fantastic job leading these young women during their time as a Royal."
