(RV) Warner Baseball – Royals Fall to UCSB and SEU in the TSC Tournament

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Royals played Game 7 and Game 9 to be eliminated from the Sun Conference tournament. 
 
Game one
 
The Sand Sharks got off to an early start and scored 2 runs in the 1st inning. In the top of the 2nd, Zachary Balogh grounded out to third base but was still able to record the RBI scoring David Torres to improve the score to 2-1 in favor of USCB. In the top of the 6th, Brian Spradlin grounded out to the second baseman but still registered an RBI scoring Torres to tie the game. 
 
In the top 7th inning, Torres singled to center field recorded an RBI scoring Jan Martinez to take the lead. Josh Strickland capitalized on an error by the third baseman and John Pichman scored to make the game 5-2 in favor of the Royals. 
 
USCB scored in the 9th inning to tie the game and walked off in the 10th inning. 
 
Ryley Rozar started on the mound for the Royals and pitched 8 innings. John Bean went in relief for Rozar only pitching 1 inning. Bean took the loss off of the mound for Warner moving his overall record to 8-3. 
 
Game two
 
In the top of the 1st, Tyler Brown hit an inside the park home run to right field registered an RBI scoring Martinez to put the first 2 runs on the board. In the top of the 2nd, Martinez singled through the left side listed an RBI scoring Balogh to improve the game to 3-0. SEU scored some runs in the 3rd and 5th inning to take the lead.
 
Torres singled to center field in the top of the 7th recorded an RBI scoring Pichman to tie the game. In the bottom of the 7th the Fire scored two runs to extend their lead. Pichman doubled to left-center in the top of the 9th, registered an RBI scoring Brown to cut the lead. Logan Flood singled through the left side recorded an RBI scoring Pichman to improve the game to 6-7 in favor of SEU. 
 
Pedro Reyes started the game for the Royals, he pitched 4.2 innings. Andy Yarbrough went in relief for Reyes to finish the game and pitched 3.1 innings, recorded 4 strikeouts.
