Warner Women's Basketball - Royals Remain Undefeated Against the Bruins

LAKE WALES, Fla. – Royals win two in a row after beating Bob Jones University 75-62.

Warner played Bob Jones University for the third time in school history. The last time the Royals faced the Bruins was back in 2019, the Royals are now 3-0 against the Bruins. The Royals are 3-2 the past five games they have played and have doubled their wins already in the 2021-2022 season compared to the 2020-2021 season. 

Warner shot 50 percent from the field and 36 percent from the three-point line. The Royals had four players that scored more than 15 points during the match-up between the Bruins. Jasmine Edwards had 17 points on the night and 15 rebounds on the night to solidify a double-double. Chanelle McDonald also had 17 points on the night, Isabella Lopez capped off with 15 points and 5 steals against the Bruins. Dianis Hurtado led the Royals with 18 points on the night and 7 assists, she also was 9-13 from the field.

The Royals play Thomas University for the first SUN conference matchup of 2022 on Thursday, January 6th, 5:30 pm.
