Warner Men's Basketball - Royals Fall Short to Mariners

BRUNSWICK, GA – Royals snap their winning streak against the Mariners as they fall short 76-89. 

The Royals have an overall record of 8-3 against CCGA. The last time these two teams faced each other was on February 20, 2021, in Brunswick, Ga. In that last encounter, Warner won 84-81.  

Logan West led the Royals with 21 points as he went 10-15 from the field goal. West also recorded 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Following West was Jordin Jackson with 14 points in the contest. Jackson played a total of 29 minutes, and he went 2-3 from the three-point line.

Senior, Joc Dickerson registered a total of 13 points. Dickerson was rebound leader for Warner and was just shy of his first double-double of the season as he recorded 8 boards in total, 7 defensive rebounds, and 1 offensive rebound. He also registered 2 assists and 1 block. 

The Royals will travel to Ave Maria, Fla. to take on the Gyrenes of Ave Maria University for a  SUN Conference matchup Saturday, January 15 at 2:00 pm.
