BABSON PARK, Fla - The Royals traveled to Babson Park, Fla for a Crooked Lake Rivalry Sun Conference match against Webber International University.
The Royals traveled across crooked lake to face off against their rivals from Webber International University for a sun conference matchup. The Royals found themselves behind early to the Warriors by one but
Bryce Himes took advantage of a ricochet in the Warriors box and found the back of the net to tie the match. Defense would continue to be the strong suit for both teams as the match would remain tied at one heading into halftime. The Warriors would take a commanding lead against the Royals halfway through the second half of the matchup, but the Royals would continue to fight on both sides of the field.
Hector Revelo would score a big goal for the Royals as they started to build some momentum late in the match. With ten minutes remaining and time winding down, the Royals continued to fight as they would push the pace to even the score before time ran out. Unfortunately, they ran out of time and dropped the Crooked Lake Clash as they dropped to 2-9-2 on the year and look forward to hosting the Fire at home on saturday.
