Warner Women's Soccer Finish In A 1-1 Draw Against The Gyrenes

LAKE WALES, Fla - Your Lady Royals took on Ave Maria for the second time in this season in search of their second Conference win at home in Lake Wales, Fla.

Your Lady Royals came out on fire tonight with a chip on their shoulders and something to prove after their match last week against the Fire. This is the second time in Conference these teams have met this time at home. In this first half of play the Royals maintained position and controlled the game of play keeping the ball on their side of the field. Both teams were evenly matched with Warner taking five shots in this half while the Gyrenes took six. The Royals stayed aggressive on their attack as Jillian Johnson found her teammate Jessica Alejandre for an assist resulting in a goal for the Royals. This gave the Royals a boost throughout the game as they kept attacking the goal until the Gyrenes caught the Royals sleeping as  they answered back with a goal of their own to turn the flow of the game and tie the match at one a piece. In the second half the Gyrenes came out in control taking 7 shots while Warner only took to. In this half the Goalie Inna Vannula took charge with 4 huge saves especially with the final minute on the clock keeping the Gyrenes scoreless in the second half leaving the score 1-1.
