TAMPA TERRACE, Fla - The Royals traveled to Tampa Terrace, Fla to face the Falcons of Florida College.
The Royals faced off against the Falcons looking for a win during the week after having a week off from action. The Royals came out hot and looked to be in rhythm early as they outscored the Falcons 38-35 in the first half. The Royals did a great job moving the ball around, and looked to emphasize what they did in the first half.
Logan West was the leading scorer for the Royals as he recorded 14 points along with six rebounds, and two assists.
Blaize Darling Jr did a great job crashing the boards as he led the Royals with seven rebounds, and also finished behind West with 13 points. The Royals were strong defensively as they recorded a total of 12 steals. The Falcons made halftime adjustments that would prove to be very effective against the Royals as they would end up outsourcing the Royals in the second half by nine points. The Royals would continue to fight with time winding down towards the end but the Falcons adjustments at the half would prove too much as the final score would end at 62-68.
Christian Nurse was the third Royal to finish in double digit points as he registered 12 points, two rebounds, and an assist off the bench.Â
