LAKE WALES, FLA - The Royals bring it back home to Lake Wales, Fla after a trip to Panama City to face off against the Thomas University NightHawks in a non-conference matchup.
The Royals looked to get back in the win column against former Sun Conference opponent Thomas University at home. The Royals came out hot in the first half and dominated the court making a statement against the NightHawks.
Jamal Norris found his stroke early going 4-5 from the 3 point line scoring 12 points that helped open up the offense for forwards
Christian Nurse and
Logan West to find the open lanes and capitalize on the holes of the Nighthawk defense.The Royals looked great on offense and went into half with a 10 point lead over the NightHawks leading 42-32 looking to continue their great play in the final half of the game. The Royals did not disappoint coming into the half maintaining the lead in the 2nd Half. They were able to find the bottom of the net the whole night and capitalized on open shots, shooting just under 50% from the field with the highest lead of the night being 18 points. In the 2nd Half, Blaize Darling came out on fire with nine points leading the Royals offense as they continued to dominate throughout the game on both sides of the ball throughout the game.The Royals had a stellar game beating the NightHawks 72-63 to get back in the win column and improve their record to 3-4 as  They are look to keep the streak going as they move look forward to their next opponent in Johnson University later in the week.

- Logan West had 12 points tonight with 8 rebounds, doing a great job crashing the boards all night
- Christian Nurse has an impressive night with 13 points and five rebounds in the win.Â
