BRUNSWICK, GA- The Royals faced off against Coastal Georgia University in a Sun Conference matchup on the road in Brunswick, GA.
The Royals came out the gate hot in this one, dominating all facets of the game in route to a double-digit victory over their Sun Conference counterparts. Warner, thanks to efficient shooting, commanded an early lead, and never looked back.
Logan West led the way in scoring with 20 points on 50 percent shooting from the field. The team as a whole, matched West's production, shooting a dazzling 50 percent from the field and beyond the arch. Even more impressive was the Royals 29 points off turnovers, which led to fastbreak success. The Royal's defense was also a factor in the contest, as the unit tallied 11 steals, and 14 defensive rebounds.
Blaize Darling Jr continued his strong season, finishing with 17 points on 50 percent shooting to go along with five assists. The Royals got a strong performance off the bench tonight from
Johnathan Joseph who led the way with four steals, while also contributing eight points. The Royals perimeter defense was a highlight in the contest, forcing the Mariners to shoot an abysmal 20 percent from the three-point line. On the other hand,
Josh Glesil knocked down four Warner threes on 80 percent three-point shooting. The Mariners got a good performance tonight from Layton Veon, who tied the team lead with 12 points, along with notching six rebounds, two assists, and a block. Warner, looking to bounce back into the win column, ran away with the game in the second half and came out on top 78 to 57 in Georgia. The Royals will seek to remain in the win column Saturday when they face Southeastern in a Sun Conference matchup.

- Johnathan Joseph came off the bench in a strong way for the Royals, finishing with a team leading four steals. On the offensive side of the ball, Joseph recorded eight points, knocking down two threes.
- The Royals capitalized off turnovers, scoring 29 points.
