LAKE WALES, FL - In a challenging encounter on their home turf, the Warner University Royals women's soccer team faced a significant defeat against SCAD Savannah on October 16, 2024. The Royals, competing in the SUN Conference, struggled to counter the offensive prowess shown by their opponents, concluding the game with an 8-0 score.

The match at Warner was marked by SCAD Savannah's commanding performance right from the start. At halftime, the scoreboard read SCAD Savannah 3, Warner University 0. The relentless pressure continued through the second half, with SCAD Savannah expanding their lead substantially. 

Despite the hard efforts from Warner's goalie, Haley Houweling, the intense offensive attacks from SCAD Savannah proved overwhelming. Warner University's women's soccer team is gearing up to face the St. Thomas Bobcats next on their home ground at Royals Soccer Field in Lake Wales, FL on October 19, hoping to turn their season around and improve on their current record of 3-6-1.
