LAKE WALES, FL - In a thrilling SUN Conference football encounter, Warner University Royals faced a tough battle against the Thomas Nighthawks on October 19, 2024, at Tye Athletic Field. Despite a promising first half, the Royals couldn't maintain their lead, ultimately falling with a final score of Thomas 27, Warner 21.

The game opened with strong performances from both teams. Warner's Shane Hamm showcased his skills with a significant 61-yard touchdown run, pushing the Royals forward. Alongside Hamm, Jaylen Thompson and Omarius Davis also contributed touchdowns, with Thompson rushing for a 14-yard TD and Davis receiving a 15-yard TD pass. Rigens Andre also stood out by contributing a hefty 160 rushing yards, aiding in Warner's offensive efforts.
