LAKE WALES, FL - The Royals battled hard in a close Sun Conference matchup against the College of Coastal Georgia, but ultimately fell 70-67 in a tightly contested game at home. Despite their tenacity and several lead changes, the Royals were unable to secure the win in the final minutes.
Game Leaders:
- Jack Voth led Warner's scoring with 16 points, including two three-pointers, while also contributing 4 assists and 1 steal.
- Jamal Norris provided a strong offensive spark off the bench, adding 12 points on 4-of-8 shooting from beyond the arc.
- Blaize Darling Jr was impactful on both ends, recording 8 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals.
The Royals demonstrated resilience, hitting 12 three-pointers and converting 81.3% from the free-throw line. However, Coastal Georgia's advantage on the boards (44 rebounds to Warner's 29) and their 17 second-chance points ultimately made the difference.
